MEET OUR TEAM

Wealth management involves a lot of data and numbers, but the most important ingredient for great advice is human empathy.  Unlike robots, people can feel uncomfortable about the irreducible uncertainty that can surround the future.

We know how that feels.

So we know how to keep you on track in spite of it.

Sure, we've hired some robots to do some heavy lifting where they can, but people will always be the difference between success and failure when it counts.  We hope to spend a lot of time getting to know you and hearing your story.  In the meantime, you can "meet" us here first!

Nathan Harro, CFP®

President | Financial Advisor

In the depths of the financial crisis in 2009, I was an out-of-work software developer with a mortgage and no savings, having just sunk most of it into renovating the new house.  In other words, I was the perfect candidate to become a financial advisor!

In July of 2009, I decided to give the idea a try.  I began my career in the insurance world, but quickly realized that what I loved most about financial services was the same thing I had loved about software development: discovering what the client needed and designing the most efficient solution to execute that vision.  After becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2015 I began to realize that in order to truly deliver the advice that my clients deserved at an efficient cost, I had to be independent.  In early 2017, I founded Centennial Wealth Group.  I'm proud of where we are and excited for the future as we continue to grow.

When I'm not working, I'm always up for a round of golf.  I also enjoy spending time with my wife, Marguerite and our three sons.  You can find us on the golf course, driving an RC truck around the neighborhood, or playing soccer in the front yard.

If you had a million dollars to spend, what would be the first three things you would buy?
First, I would buy a plane ticket to Augusta, GA; then give most of the rest to whoever could get me on for a round at Augusta National.  The third thing would be noise-cancelling headphones for when my wife finds out what I spent it on.

What’s the most likely place people could find you on a Saturday night?
Most likely at home.  Saturday nights with young kids involves a lot of marble mazes, wrestling, car races, and the like.

Which would you pick: Living on the beach or living near the mountains?
It isn't about the beach or the mountain for me, because I like both.  What does matter is the proximity to great golf courses.

Imagine being approached by a genie who offers you three wishes. What might those wishes be?
I’d wish for Fred Couples' golf swing, the ability to read faster than anyone, and unlimited storage on my iPhone.

If you had the ability to travel back in time, what’s something you would tell your 18-year-old self?
People are going to wonder aloud to your face how you managed to marry a woman so far out of your league.  Don't worry, they mean it as a compliment!

Director of Operations

I got into the financial planning business in 2012 after graduating from the University of Memphis. I worked in marketing at a financial firm before joining Nathan’s practice in 2014.  Since the inception of Centennial Wealth Group, I've worked as the Director of Operations running the “behind the scenes” aspect of the business. I spend most of my time opening and servicing client accounts and making sure things run smoothly on a daily basis.

Learn More About Me

If you had a million dollars to spend, what would be the first three things you would buy?
First, I would put aside money for my son’s education. The second and third things I would do with the money would be to hire an interior designer and buy all new furniture and decor for my house.

What is the most likely place people could find you in a Saturday night?
Either at home with my family or over at friends’ houses cooking out or having game night.

Which would you pick: living on a beach or living near the mountains?
Definitely the mountains. I lead a very active lifestyle and would love all the hiking, biking and skiing.  The beach is best for vacations for me.

Imagine being approached by a genie who offers you three wishes, what might those wishes be?
1 - For my son to be happy and successful in life.
2 - To become one of those people who enjoys cooking and is actually good at it.
3 - The have the ability to teleport myself and my family whenever and wherever I want.

If you had the ability to travel back in time, what’s something you would tell your 18 year old self?
Stop obsessing over the future and figuring out exactly how you want your life to play out.  Things go very differently than you plan, but you end up exactly where you’re meant to be.
